The team at the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering NAS is involved into experiments with different trace elements to show their biological significance on the molecular, cellular and organism levels using various methods of trace element determination. Institute has for that modern analytical installation, inductively coupled with plasma atomic emission spectrometry, flow spectrometer, HPLC. Almost all installation for genetic experiments like DNA or RNA sequencing, synthesis of polynucleotides, various methods for cell isolation and cultivations. We have dine analytical determinations of trace elements content in agricultural productions and in blood and tissues of human. Last research is strongly related to medicine of its various fields. The list of our publication illustrates this conclusion. Our team regularly participates in collaborative research, in which we are responsible for the trace element analysis to perform environmental, clinical and food analyzes.
